Unique Roles for Native American Women
Wednesday, March 11, 2 pm
Laura Chmielewski, professor, historian and lecturer, will give a fascinating talk titled “Unique Women’s Roles in Early Native American Culture.” She will describe Native American women as Nantucket whalers, religious radicals and in other nontraditional roles.
Ukulele Sing-Along!
Wednesday, March 18, 2 pm
The Lower Westchester Ukulele Group will perform at 2. This will be an energetic, fun-filled afternoon and is open to all!
Art of the Literary Poster
Wednesday, March 25, 2 pm
"The Art of the Literary Poster: Works from the Leonard A. Lauder Collection." Allison Rudnick, curator in the Department of Drawing and Prints at the Metropolitan Museum of Art, will present.
